Carven Spring 2012 RTW

Months later, I'm still creaming myself over Carven's Spring 2012 RTW offerings. Splashes of electric blue, lace inserts, cut-outs, mustard accents, full-skirted dresses, and sleek monochromatic blazer-and-shorts combos all paired with bare legs - all the good in this world encapsulated in a single collection.

And those beige lace ups. They sort of look like some hybrid of orthopedic shoes and those platform monstrosities courtesy of the Spice Girls circa 1996. Kind of like the love child of a pair of seriously good-looking first cousins. I'm picturing myself growing old and retiring with them (as people do) and it feels so right.
